Poptail O’Clock: Bourbon Butterscotch Latte
If you enjoyed the bourbon butterscotch latte we brought you for last week’s cocktail o’clock, good news: we found a way to improve on it. How? How do you think? Turning it into a poptail!
We took the coffee, cream, bourbon, butterscotch and threw it all into a blender. Then we gave it a rush of cold for a few hours and created a new kind of latte.
And there you have it, another option for your coffee beyond black or with cream.
Bourbon Butterscotch Latte Popsicles
16 oz. strong or extra bold coffee, room temperature
4 oz. heavy cream
4 oz. bourbon
2 oz. butterscotch sauce
1. Add all ingredients into a blender and mix to combine. Pour mixture into popsicles mold.
2. Freeze for about 2 hours or until mixture starts to solidify enough to hold a popsicle stick upright. Insert popsicle sticks and finish freezing popsicles overnight. To release popsicles run hot water on the outside of popsicle molds for a 2-3 seconds.
Where do I buy popsicle molds?
Awesome – I’ll be serving these at a party Saturday night!
Stop it right now. I mean it. I’m at work and now you got me thinkin’ about boozy popsicles…. 🙂
My boyfriend adores bourbon and butterscotch. I can’t wait to make these for him!
