UK vs US bacon? I really like crisp bacon. I do not care what anyone tells you UK bacon cannot be cooked crisp. Well done, yes, but not crisp. So many establishments fold over the UK bacon and pretend to cook it and it comes out with white fat, and very chewy. No thanks, I will take good old hog belly anytime. OH, and the streaky bacon in the UK, it is not the same. I cooked 12 ounches and the pan was dry. Not a drop of fat to be found. How am I took cook eggs like this?
