do un-organic tater-makers put some chemical in to stop this from happening? I ask because this rarely used to happen to me, as I eat my potatoes pretty quickly, but ever since I started shopping at the co-op, my potatoes grow eyes in 2 to 3 days

All my carrots are freaking out in the crisper right now. How do they know?
