Cheflebrity Smörgåsbord: A Taste of the Exotic East?

The latest and greatest news about celebrity chefs, served up buffet style.

– Wait…there’s an Indian food show on television?  On American television?  Really?

– Easy Joke Alert:  People were angry when they couldn’t get in to a taping of Emeril’s show.  Even more angry?  The people who did get in.

After the jump…a Philly chef gets southern and stays local and Cat Cora gets herself some of that Oprah money.

– Philly Cheesesteak maestro and shameless self-promoter Tony Luke made friendly with Paula Deen.  After her palling around with The Situation last week, I think it’s time she talks to her publicist.

Cat Cora is getting a new show.  On one hand, it will be on Oprah’s new network.  On the other hand, it will be produced by the people who bring us The Real Housewives of New York.  So does that mean it will be classy or trashy?

– Iron Chef Jose Garces keeps it local.  And my man-crush grows even bigger…

My parents went to a taping of Emeril Live years ago. They said it was horrible and haven’t watched the Food Network since. Those people who didn’t get in? Lucky bitches.
