Sports Snacks: Healthy Buffalo Chicken Dip

(Healthy) Buffalo Chicken Dip

Well.  Fall is basically here, guys. Football season just started, so it’s time to bring on the bevy of snack and appetizer recipes.

Instead of having you heat up some deep fried frozen snacks for your guests, I thought I’d bring you some super simple sinless snack options (try saying that five times fast). That way you can cheer on your team with delicious treats while maintaining your figure. Skinny snacks, for the win!!!

This one is soooo good.  I recommend making a double batch because this will be gobbled up by family and friends. You will be the hit of all football (or any other type of) gatherings!

Yes, might have a buffalo chicken obsession.

(Healthy) Buffalo Chicken Dip

makes 2 cups of dip

1 cup of chopped chicken (I used half of a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store)
1 1/2 cups of non fat plain Greek yogurt
4-5 tbsp buffalo sauce
1-2 tbsp ranch dip mix (seasoning packet found on salad dressing aisle)
1/4 cup crumbled bleu cheese
1/2 cup shredded white cheese (I used Italian blend)

Mix all ingredients up and refrigerate for at least an hour or overnight.  Serve with celery, carrots, peppers and lite crackers.

*Optional–top with additional buffalo sauce and bleu cheese

Enjoy!

Looks great, I love a good buffalo dip but hate all the mayo!
