I don’t find ‘Fancy’ annoying, it’s just British. It’s akin to Americans constantly saying that they ‘like’ something. To each their own, though.

“Swoon” is annoying. But isn’t as bad as “Fancy” Ugh. I am so sick of hearing “I fancy this” or “I fancy that” Blech! Come on already!
