I agree with Laura. The Coop doesn’t pretend to be not gay; he just says it’s nunya business. A goal of the gay rights movement should be that every person feels comfortable talking about their sexuality in public and in the workplace — not that every person HAS to. I would like to know more about his food choices though.

Well, Anderson can’t really come out. His CNN job often has him traveling to zones that aren’t exactly accepting. He travels to emergency zones in developing countries, which aren’t safe at the best of times. If he was out it would be even more dangerous for himself and his team. He’s in the glass closet, everyone who wants to know knows that he’s gay.
