I discovered this combo about 15 years ago. My family and friends think it is disgusting until they try it….it is soooo good! If you want to kick up the flavor to the next level, add some chopped onion to this combo. I know that sounds crazy, but it is amazing (the only way I eat peanut butter bacon dogs now). Also, I prefer a quality all beef dog, but it works with any dog.

I will definately be trying this in the future. Also, I can attest that peanut butter on waffles (with syrup) is pure heaven and bacon or sausage goes well with it too. As such, I’m not surprised in the least that PB goes well with a hot dog and bacon.

Also, there is a bar in Seattle that has a peanut butter bacon cheeseburger. I want the hot dog and the burger to have a showdown. In my mouth.

I’d have to try it before I believe it, but I’m a huge PB fan so I wouldn’t be surprised if I loved it.
